Position Title: Purchasing Facilitator

JOB PURPOSE:

The Purchasing Facilitator is accountable for Non-Inventory/Inventory materials supply needed to support the Operations activities of Egypt site.

The role holder manages day-to-day relationships, service level agreements, contracts, and suppliers’ performance with key internal and external suppliers.

The role holder leads materials flow and cost optimization initiatives and is a key PET link (along with the PET Leader) into the Global procurement and Marketing Company Finance team.

Compliance & Governance:

It’s the ultimate responsibility of the job holder to comply-with Responsible Procurement Standards and follow all applicable AstraZeneca policies (e.g. SHE, GMP, FCF, ABAC, etc) along with the Egyptian local laws and regulations relevant to the job responsibilities and exposure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

Manage and improve relationship/performance with AZ operations suppliers and/or third parties

Performance Indicators

– Ensure suppliers compliance and alignment with Responsible Procurement program, ABAC & EI polices, and compliance framework adherence.

– Manage / Improve OTIF KPIs.

– Improve Quality KPIs.

– Activity aligned with Global Procurement activity and target.

– Effective communication with suppliers.

Manage and implement the function’s related Projects

– Apply AZ PMF.

– Implement and align with global projects.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all SAP-PTP Modules

– 100% Support for all PTP users.

– Maintain reporting tools to enable controlling and tracking the whole process.

– Challenge developing the PTP process and eliminate any non-added value tasks.

Aligning purchasing activities to all regulatory requirements/site projects.

– Customer satisfaction feedback.

– Robust adherence to Compliance framework

Performance-Manage and coach Procurement team

– Improve/ Manage the team performance, and engagement with PET.

– Improve level of team engagement, maintain leadership communications & improve work life balance, efforts utilization, & teamwork.

Managing and monitoring all company’s contract’s and SLA’s

– Effective supply for materials and services.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

– Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related discipline

– Strong knowledge with SAP-PTP cycle and purchasing background.

– Minimum two years line management experience.
