For Engineering Excellence Center in Algiers, we are currently looking for talented candidates for the position: Project Application Engineer
Project Application Engineer provides engineering support for several projects; assignments are of moderate technical complexity and scope, and may require oversight from a Senior Application Engineer. He/she may act in a lead capacity on projects of limited size, complexity and risk. He/she is accountable for developing technical and professional (customer-facing) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Interprets customers’ technical specifications and assists customer in defining detailed application, system and hardware requirements
– Prepares detailed hardware and software specifications on Invensys’ products
– Develops software and completes all necessary documentation to meet requirements of the application specifications
– Prepares packaging specifications
– Works with third-party, vendors, to ensure compatibility with Invensys’ solution
– Assists with basic on-site engineering, including: start-up and application commissioning and hardware assembly
– Participates in customer acceptance and application testing under the supervision of a Senior Application Engineer
– Increases project margins by minimizing re-work and complying with Invensys’ technical engineering processes and quality standards
– Provides Sales with engineering estimations for potential application opportunities of low complexity, value, or risk
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master`s Degree (Technical University) or equivalent experience (Automation, Process Control)
– Minimum of 4 years of experience on similar position
– Good knowledge of application of software structure and hardware specification is essential
– Knowledge of industrial automation control systems (DCS, SIS, PLC)
– MS Office – advanced
– Customer oriented

– Driving license
– Fluent in English and French
