POSITION PURPOSE STATEMENT

– To manage the promotion, pricing and positioning of existing products, including effective resource allocation, in order to optimize sales and profits



– To strategize, write and implement the marketing plan in relation to brad launches, including mega-brands.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implemented Product Marketing Plan:

– Develop product marketing and campaign plans

– Give input into investment/resource allocation per therapeutic area

– Strategically segment individual markets

– Implement the plan as approved and report as required on strategy and implementation issues

– Base A&P spend on activities, segmentation and potential.

Establish and maintain good relationships:

– Identify key players and opinion leaders

– Communicate regularly with key customers through visits, e-mail and other verbal or written methods

– Provide clinical and promotional support to customers

Maintained administrative systems

– Monthly reporting on strategy implementation and budget spend

– Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience :

– Higher degree in scientific discipline (Doctors or pharmacists)

– Ideally an MBA or equivalent in Marketing or equivalent from a renowned school.

– Experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry

– A first experience as a Sales Representative would be an asset

– Area/Regional experience would be a benefit

– Cultural understanding and ability to act sensitively

– Well-developed communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
