ABB Algérie Spa is recruiting a Sales Manager Power Systems – Network Management

As one of the world’s leading engineering companies, we help our customers to use electrical power efficiently, to increase industrial productivity and to lower environmental impact in a sustainable way.

-The Sales Manager will be responsible for selling products and systems for Substation Automation Products, Substation Automation Systems, and Utility Communications in Algeria.

-The role requires direct end customer contacts, and EPC´s working in the area. Incumbent sets strategy for a complex market, oversees sales planning and ensures alignment of sales strategies with corporate growth objectives.

Main Accountabilities:

-Drive growth areas (geographical/segment/channels), growth strategies, & market approach.

-Sales of products and systems within the three system groups Substation Automation Products, Substation Automation Systems and Utility Communications

-Coordinate activities with the local ABB organization.

-Influence decisions that have major impact on region’s sales, market share, and financial results.

-Advises customers, including senior management, on ABB’s capabilities, technology, and applications for products and systems.

-Work with customers and ABB experts to resolve complex technical and business issues.

-Make plans how to increase business opportunities in Algeria.

-Establish, build and maintain long-term customer relationships to increase market penetration and decrease Company risks.

-Take an active role in business development for Algeria.

-Engage in and leverage relationships, both internally and externally, to promote mutually beneficial partnerships

-Forecast, track, report and manage objectives to ensure results are achieved

-Prepare and deliver bids

-Remain informed of customer needs and proactively offer solutions

-Establish, build and maintain long-term customer relationship

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field .

-Minimum 5 years experience in engineering or technical field plus sales and marketing.

-Extrovert person with exceptional communications skills.

-Ability to discuss technical solutions with the customer.

-Strong planning skills that exhibit in-depth understanding of company’s technical and commercial strengths and relationships with markets.

-Adept negotiation and leadership skills to successfully overcome objections and close sales

-Aptitude to proactively identify opportunities and/or eliminate threats of major impact on organization’s sales, objectives and customer relations.

-Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
