Maersk Algerie is recruiting an Inside Sales Executive to join its dynamic Sales team.

Area of responsibility:

1- Execute sales strategy for Algeria

– Actively seek and secure NEW clients

– Deliver as per targets set and assist Sales Executives monitoring overall inside sales revenue and managing cost

– Manage overall business portfolio to maximize revenues and profitability; monitor and report on critical KPIs

– Leverage understanding of local business environment to support the development of sales and marketing strategy

2- Sales support

– Maintain relationships with all IS accounts and other sales colleagues to facilitate best practice sharing and cross trade sales

– Approve proposals and contract terms for accounts that require sales handling beyond established guidelines

– Assist in developing local sales support tools and assist in building individual customer strategies, including identification of up-selling opportunities.

– Ensure proper & timely update of systems.

– Ensure constant focus on customer satisfaction through timely attendance of customers’ requests and efficient internal coordination with the rest of the stakeholders.

– Be a market expert, both in terms of customer and competitor developments

– Ensure sales back up.

– Ensure the outsourcing to GSCs of all non facing customer tasks under sales scope.

– Support sales executives and management with market intelligence data whenever needed.

Required skills:

– Able to play an integral part of the business decision-making process and help Maersk achieve and maintain competitive leadership.

– Able to identify competitive trends and provide recommendations on how to take advantage of same.

– Deep insight into Maersk products, trades and yield optimization, and are able to play a vital role in the day-to-day execution of Maersk strategy locally in the country.

– Proficient in research, analysis and assessment of information, and dissemination and communication of insights to key decision-makers.

– Strong analytical skills, the ability to work systematically and an energetic, positive mind-set and attitude.

– Ensure a close follow up and coordination with the whole Maersk team, both sales and customer service wise.

Generic Characteristics:

The ideal candidate will be a person who has a strong business and customer understanding, with experience (but not necessarily) from Sales. An individual who focuses on constant improvements and has a flexible mind. The candidate should also be efficient, decisive, result oriented, service minded and strive to have high customer satisfaction, while meeting personal and company expectations. The applicant needs to have a strong drive to give our customers a world class service.

We are looking for individuals who are open for change and who have a sense of urgency. The person needs to be an excellent communicator, and enjoys interaction with others.

Experience:

– University Degree (Ideally in the field)

– Good references from delivering targets, living company values and especially being a good colleague.

Language needed in the position:

English, Arabic & French.
