Mission:
Responsible for delivering technical/service products and support to our customers. Ensuring that TP provides our customers with a high quality of services and that all issues are dealt with in the most effective and satisfactory way both for the customer and Tetra Pak.
Overview of the Position & Responsibilities:
– Manage and execute installation including commissioning,
– Implement installation projects in accordance with the project plan and escalate any deviation to the Project Manager;
– Coordinate and execute planned preventive major maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with agreed procedures, ensuring effective operation of TP line equipment, Reinstate equipment into production environment with a high level of customer satisfaction ,
– Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and automation malfunctions and breakdowns,
– Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems to ensure permanent resolution and/or escalate with a proper problem description when root cause is not identified,
– Handle claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims according to the claims processes, including root cause analysis,
– Install rebuilding kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment with a high level of customer satisfaction,
– Use performance monitoring data to identify issues and validate improvements.
– Escalate wider operational efficiency issues when appropriate,
– Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak based on CRM concept at all times with the customer to ensure good working relationships and TP’s reputation are sustained,
– Be aware of existing Service Products, proactively looking for opportunities which can be shared with the TKAM,
– Administer, track, report and audit relevant measures to ensure quality, timely and accurate information and documentation is available and accessible,
– Train, develop and coach operators and technicians in maintenance and troubleshooting, to ensure skills are transferred, knowledge is shared and operational effectiveness is maximised at all times including customer staff and TP colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Strong electrical, mechanical and automation engineering experience and skills.
– Engineering background in the food industry, general industry or equivalent.
– You will have experience as a technician for packaging machines, preferably in the dairy or food packaging industry and ideally within a multinational company.
– A good understanding of English French and Arabic is mandatory.
