As part of the A. P. Moller – Maersk Group, Seago Line is serving the European and North African containerized market. Seago Line is founded with the aim to enhance regional market focus.

At Seago line, we are aiming at having a combined customer service & sales support department working closely with external sales and we look for driven and flexible client executives to handle the daily contact with our clients. As a part of the team you will have an opportunity to be part of a developing new Business unit, short sea minded, flexible with simplified processes. You will be actively participating in the continuous improvement of all processes and our customer satisfaction. You will report to the Seago Line country coordinator.

Area of responsibility:

– Ensure all day-to-day communication with our customers, sales and other relevant departments is handled immediately and in an efficient manner.

– Ensure follow up on shipments to ensure transport plan is maintained as scheduled, including follow up to secure timely receipt of all required documents to ensure this goal is reached.

– Ensure immediate and correct handling of all customer complaints. This includes taking ownership of such incidents until resolved.

– Work actively with our Global shared service centre, as and when required, to ensure communication and information availability is improved. This to ensure we can maintain high quality service levels towards customers and internal stakeholders.

– Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent communication and the most efficient process execution.

– Take responsibility for the execution of the shipment lifecycle process incl. cross functional coordination.

– Execute efficient processes in accordance with legislation, company policies and standard operating procedures.

Essential job tasks:

– Ensure that customers receive the best possible service at all times.

– Handle day-to-day customer service and sales support activities.

– Continuously support and drive improvement of communication between ourselves, our customers, the Global Service Centre and other internal and external stakeholders to improve the business results.

– Attend client’s enquiries about the company product, services and processes.

– Coordinate with Sales and other stakeholders regarding the specific client needs, forecasting and agreed terms.

– Keep customer informed at anytime if any changes to the confirmed plan.

– Ensuring world class caretaking of customer interaction and shipment processes.

– Coordination with internal suppliers and stakeholders with regards to sales, equipment, space, intermodal, foreign offices, finance etc.

– Support and work closely with Sales to ensure delivery of offering and reaching or exceeding joint targets (Volumes, Customer satisfaction and others).

– Be proactive and efficient, leading to reduced need for service recovery.

– Immediate attention to, and resolution of, service issues.

– Constant review of processes to find efficiency gains and off-shoring possibilities.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to take on multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment and he/she will have a positive mind-set and can-do attitude. The candidate must also have a high sense of responsibility and a focus on delivering excellence in the details.

Experience :

– University Degree (Ideally in the field)

– Good references from delivering targets, living company values and especially being a good colleague.

Language needed in the position:

– English, Arabic & French.
